Teknolikken is a social and inclusive student orchestra where the joy of music is at the center. It brings together students with a common interest in music - both those who have been playing for many years and those who finally want to fulfill their dream of learning an instrument.
Every Thursday the members meet for rehearsals and socializing afterwards. Throughout the semester âLikkenâ participates in SMASH (a student band festival) and plays in various social settings. One of the highlights of the year is May 17th, where Teknolikken often has a float in the main procession. To join, just send them a DM on Instagram, or attend an open rehearsal at the start of the semester!
The band is led by a leader, deputy leader and music director, while the rest of the members contribute what they can and want. The most important thing is not how good you are at playing, but that you want to be part of a social community where music, laughter and friendship are the focus. No matter what your background is - everyone is welcome here!
